Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center Names New Director of Environmental Services

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., May 17, 2018 – Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center has selected Jim Kotwica to serve as the director of environmental services.

In this role, he is responsible for overseeing the Daytona Beach hospital’s environmental services team of more than 70 employees to ensure a clean and safe environment. Read more…

Florida Hospital New Smyrna Recognizes Nurse with DAISY Award

NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla., May 16, 2018 – Florida Hospital New Smyrna recognized registered nurse Erin Krall with the DAISY award.

The DAISY Award is an international program that rewards and celebrates extraordinary clinical skill and compassionate care provided by nurses. Created in 1999, more than 2,400 healthcare facilities in all 50 states, as well as 14 other countries, use the DAISY Award to honor nurses.

Krall is a critical care nurse and works in Florida Hospital New Smyrna’s intensive care unit (ICU). She was nominated for the award by a colleague. Read more…
