Doctors Join Florida Hospital DeLand’s Employed Physician Group

DELAND, Fla., February 17, 2017 – Board certified general surgeons Dr. Thomas Corbyons and Dr. Michael Donohoe have joined the Florida Hospital HealthCare Partners medical staff at Florida Hospital DeLand.

Florida Hospital HealthCare Partners is the employed group of physicians for the Florida Hospital East Florida Region, which encompasses the six Florida Hospitals within Volusia and Flagler counties. Florida Hospital HealthCare Partners consists of more than 160 physicians, including both primary care physicians and specialists, and enjoys a mutual partnership with Florida Hospital based upon the close alignment of the hospitals’ mission and values.

Corbyons and Donohoe each have more than 30 years of experience and have practiced in DeLand since 1986 and 1990, respectively. Together, their practice Corbyons & Donohoe Surgical Associates has been caring for patients since 1995. Both physicians are fellows of the American College of Surgeons.

Corbyons is the chief of staff at Florida Hospital DeLand. He earned his medical degree from St. George’s University and completed his general surgery residency at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.

Donohoe completed both his medical degree and residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.

Corbyons and Donohoe office location will remain the same at 685 Peachwood Dr., DeLand. They are accepting new patients and most insurance plans and can be reached at (386) 738-5300.
